Favourite Experiences:

- Picnicking in Botanisk Have (the Botanical Gardens)
I began my trip to Scandinavia by spending four days in Copenhagen. The city had always been on my bucket list and it definitely did not disappoint! I started my visit in Copenhagen with a Hop-On-Hop-Off bus tour with Stromma. Because I was travelling on my own at the start of my trip, the bus tour was a great way to see all of the major sights. It also provided an easy form of transportation during my first few rainy days in the city. When the sun came out, I wandered around Strøget to do some shopping at the trendy Danish design stores, and headed down to Nyhavn to take a 60-minute guided Canal Cruise with Netto Bådene. The cruise sailed through lots of picturesque canals providing some excellent opportunities for photos! My Contiki Scandinavia tour started in Copenhagen on my last day in the city. Contiki took our group to the Carlsberg Brewery for a tour and tasting, and then onto Tivoli Gardens at sunset for rides, food and gorgeous lights.
Below are some of my favourite photos from my visit to beautiful Copenhagen:
