Ireland

Favourite Experiences:

  • Eating the best oysters I’ve ever had in Galway
  • Listening to Irish music at the Temple Bar in Dublin
  • Getting caught in a traffic jam caused by cows
  • Trying my first (and last) Guinness

After my time in Scotland, I flew to Dublin to spend a few days in the city before embarking on a five-day tour of Southwest Ireland with Rabbie’s Trail Burners. Our group drove around the Emerald Isle taking in the scenery and stopping for many Kodak moments along the way. We visited Kilbeggan, Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, Dingle, Killarney, Ring of Kerry, Cashel and Kilkenny. When I returned to Dublin, I stayed in Temple Bar for a few days and tried out a new pub every night.

Ireland will take your breath away. It is such a beautiful country with the nicest people I came across on our entire trip. Although you may have to contend with some foggy and rainy weather (as I did) Ireland is so worth it. Below are some photos from my time in Ireland:
